Attaching transactions to email

Hi -

Is there any existing or planned way to attach a transaction (ideally as a PDF) to an email using Suitescript?  It seems like this should be part of nlapiMergeEmail.

I'll happily submit an enhancement request for this if there isn't one already.  It would really useful to be able script the email of an Invoice, payment receipt, etc.
