How to set dropdown field back to empty (nothing selected)?

In client side scripting, is there some way to set the value of a dropdown box back to empty (i.e., nothing selected)? 

I thought I could use Validate Field to simply reject the users selection, but then I found the line in the online Help that says Validate Field doesn't apply to dropdowns.  Even if I use FieldChanged, though... what value do you actually set it to?
