Customer Deposits Balance

Can someone write me a javascript that I can use for the Customer form onload event, which will do a sql query to sum the outstanding (unapplied) balance sitting in Customer Deposits liability account for the particular customer.  We really need to be able to see this total on the front page of the Customer record, along with the A/R balance.
