A lot of people are not aware of the multi-threaded implementation of several API calls: nlapiSetFieldValue and nlapiSetCurrentLineItemValue in Client SuiteScript. This means (in a nutshell) that there are certain conditions under which both functions are called in one thread but completed in another. I will explain in detail: The item field on the item sublist (on sales transaction pages) has several dependent fields (price level, units, rate, description) whose values are sourced in when an item is selected. Sourcing in these dependent fields requires a server request which happens in a separate thread in order to minimize the effect
