Automatically Pull Vendor for Custom Form

I am new to suitescript, and I tried created a javascript file to automatically pull up a specific vendor ID when my custom form "Box Buy Form" is selected for entering bills. I followed the Netsuite help to create the script, upload into Netsuite, and to apply it to the form. But it is not working. Can anyone tell me the correct way to do this?
