Do I have access to all field values in aftersubmit when type is 'Delete'?

I'm curious before attempting.

Because of a link to another record, when the current record is deleted I want to change the stage identifier in the linked record but I do not want to do this until I am sure the delete operation was successful.

What I'm not sure of is that when a record is deleted whether I have access to read the values that were in the fields when in aftersubmit (I need to pull the linked record ID).
