setLineItemValue on a Custom Item Option no longer working

After our upgrade to Ver. 2007 this weekend, we are having a problem with a server suite script.

Using setLineItemValue() in a Before Submit Function to set a custom Item Option on a Sales Order no longer works.

[INDENT]currentRecord.setLineItemValue('item', 'custcol17', i, 2);[/INDENT]

Any ideas?
