Customer record not being Saved from 'Save Record Function'

Hello All,

I am calling a function from a Custom Entry Form (Customers) on the 'Save Record Function'

This is my code that is being called on the form save:

function clientSubmit()
{
nlapiDisableField('custentity_time_bucket', false);
}


Although my nlapiDisableField code runs fine it does not actually go on to Save and close my form which I would expect it to do since the function is being called from the 'Save Record Function' withing the custom code of my entry form. Does anyone have any idea of why this would not be saving the customer record?
