Javascript array.splice() function not working in suitelet script
I have the following code in a suitelet script:
if (results[j].getValue('internalid') == results_associatedSO[i].getValue('custcol_associated_so')) { nlapiLogExecution('debug', 'info', 'splicing'); results.splice(j, 1); } Before the "if", results.length = 1, after the if, results.length = 1. The log shows that the splice function was called.
When running the same script on clientside in a validateLine function, before the "if", results.length = 1, after the if, results.length = 0, which is the expected behavior.
In my tests, both the suitelet and clientside scripts are using the same set of data in the results variable. The results variable is filled from a nlapiSearchRecord call.
