Rate Column Editable

We have items with multiple price levels (weekday and weekend). Some employees are supposed to be able to give additional discounts on top of the selected price level.

For example, employee ABC selects an item, then the weekend price level which sets the rate to $100 but then we also need to allow the user to adjust the rate to $90. Right now the Rate field is not editable. Is there a way we can make it adjustable and then we'll just enforce the minimum rate in the validation of the row?
