Actual close date for opportunity

Hi all,

I'm trying to compare the close date for a list of opportuities amnd then have the system fire an email to a person if has been closed for more than 3 months.

So far I cannot get the actual close date to appear on my debug log. All I get for the value is a '0' character.

Here is my code:
