Server-side SuiteScript broken after 2007.1 upgrade?
I have a server-side before submit function defined on Sales Orders that is broken... it was working prior to our 2007.1 upgrade.
My function has logic based around the value of the Sales Order's class field. However, the NS function call "nlapiGetFieldValue('class')" now returns NULL when the submit type is "approve" instead of the actual value.
Here is the code:
function beforeSubmitSalesOrder(type) { nlapiLogExecution('debug', 'beforeSubmitSalesOrder - type:', type + ' ' + nlapiGetFieldValue('class')); if (nlapiGetFieldValue('class') == 1) //1:retail,2:wholesale { if (type == 'create') { doItemValidate(nlapiGetNewRecord(), null); } else if (type == 'edit') { doItemValidate(nlapiGetNewRecord(), nlapiGetOldRecord()); } else if (type == 'approve') { doItemValidate(nlapiGetOldRecord(), null); } } }//end 0
