nlobjSubList Types

edited Dec 2, 2019 6:27PM in SuiteCloud / Customization 7 comments

Another nlobjSubList question...  There are four sublist types available:  editor, inlineeditor, list, and staticlist.

The doc indicates list = "List machine with editable fields (similar to billable items machine)".  Unfortunately we don't use billable items (don't even think it is active in our account) so that comparison doesn't help me much.  Is there another similarity... Is it like DLE in search results?

I ask because I am having a hard time seeing the difference between 'list' and 'staticlist'.  Both appear static to me.  In my tests, I can edit check box fields in 'list', but thats about it.  Text and date fields are not giving me anything to edit.    Or is there something I need to do in defining the sublist fields to permit editing?

Howdy, Stranger!
