Anyone know how to add a "created from" link in a custom record?
Hi All,
I was wondering if anyone has tried to add a "created from" link in a custom record? Basically, I want to replicate the way NS links related records by adding a link pointing to the parent record where the script is triggered, as a number with a URL behind it on the custom record that the script creates.
My first snag is that when I try to get the record ID in order to build a URL, on an after-submit script, the script still returns "to be generated."
var transactionId = nlapiGetFieldValue( 'tranid' );
nlapiLogExecution('DEBUG','transactionId: '+transactionId);
nlapiGetRecordId works, is there a way to load that record and extract the transaction ID from there?
