Rounding taxrate in script
We are having errors on a script when number of digits exceeds 6. The script is changing the taxrate for CA software support items...which is taxable at just 1/2 the normal sales tax rate. See code below...
Is there a way to round off the result to just 2 digits.
var calcTaxRate = parseFloat(lineTax) / 2;
calcTaxRate = calcTaxRate + '%';
nlapiSetCurrentLineItemValue('item', 'taxrate1', calcTaxRate);
Error: EXCEEDED_MAX_FIELD_LENGTH
The field taxrate1 contained more than the maximum number ( 6 ) of characters allowed.
