nlapiSubmitField problem...

Hi-

I am using nlapiSubmitField in a script and have run into a problem..


THIS WORKS:
nlapiSubmitField('customer', (custid*1), 'custentity_rh5', 99999);

THIS DOES NOT WORK:
nextblank= "custentity_rh5"
nlapiSubmitField('customer', (custid*1), nextblank, 99999);

Is there any way that I can use a variable for the field-name part of nlapiSubmitField... It is a really long script and I really need to do this... Any help is appreciated? Thanks...
