Populating information in Inventory Adjustment based on another record

I would like to populate fields in an Inventory Adjustment before load where it can pull the internal ID of the record I wish to get the data from out of the URL and to then pass into the Inventory Adjustment.

I am finding that it doesn't seem to understand the URL in the before load and can't get the parameters from it, therefore it does not work.  Anyone had any ideas how I can do this?
