Web Services and Faults

It appears if I call a web service from a client-side script and that web service returns an HTTP code of 500, then the body of the HTTP response that I get in my script is always blank.  It seems like the NS proxy is not passing along the body when the HTTP response is 500.

Has anyone else encountered this?  Has anyone dealt with receiving SOAP faults in a NS script?
