How to call a Suitelet from .NET code

My company is in the very early stages of using NetSuite, and I'm tasked with integrating our current Oracle database website with Netsuite (using NetSuite as the data source) - lucky me!

Anyway, I'm battling through the learning curve, but I've come across an issue I got some advice on, from one of the NetSuite guys, but while I have been trying to find out more about it, I'm totally stumped (again), so I'm wondering if anyone can offer any link to reading material or sample code that can help.

The scenario is this:[LIST]
[*]I have a custom record type, with a custom Password field. The value stored in this field is a one-way encrypted string.
