Dynamically Change Preferred Vendor Based on Certain Criteria
I have a client who would like to dynamically change the preferred vendor for an item based on when the item will be available from that vendor and what the purchase price is for that item from that vendor. Basically he wants to always go with whoever has the item first and for the least amount. I can't seem to figure out how to access the vendor prices on the item record using a script. Any ideas?
