Executing saved search with insufficient permissions doesn't throw error
Back from battle....
I had a strange bug in my system and finally narrowed it down.
Symptoms:
Script that would call a saved search and email results was failing to return valid values for some roles.
Correct number of results returned but all values are null.
Cause:
The roles that were exhibiting the problem didn't have sufficient permissions to access the saved search the script was calling.
Solution (short term):
Assign permissions to saved search
Solution (long term, proposed):
NetSuite throw an error if a role tries to execute a saved search that they don't have permission to run.
