Javascript OOP - I'm trying to NOT jump to the conclusion that it's total crap
I'm trying to keep an open mind and learn how OOP and inheritance in JS is supposed to be implemented and work. It's really difficult for me to get my head around coming from C-based languages.
I read "javascript is so expressive!" but really it seems to just be a sloppy mess to me, BUT.... I need to really try to understand it, maybe I'm missing something.
I'm trying an inheritance pattern written by a guy named Joshua Gertzen - I chose this one as it seemed to be pretty simple.
My first attempt is failing and I'm hoping there is someone here that has a deep understanding of javascript and it's "prototypal inheritance"
