Script Last Day of Month

I'd like to get quotes to have the default expiration date as the last day of the month.  Something like...

nlapiSetFieldValue('duedate',LAST_DAY({trandate}));

The "LAST_DAY" is a formula command and obviously wouldn't work here.  Any suggestions?
