request.getParameter(CustomParameter) Fails today, worked yesterday....

I have several suitelets that I am calling with a custom URL parameter. I have added a custparam to the URL of the suitelet and now I am getting the parameter by calling request.getParameter(CustomParameter).

This was working for months until today when it returns null in all four suitelets I am calling it in. 

 var saleid = request.getParameter('saleid');  nlapiLogExecution('DEBUG', 'saleid ='+saleid);


Returns null even though the parameter is there.
