v2008.2 Item Level Est Gross Profit

Has anyone been able to find the new Est. Gross Profit or Est. Gross Profit Margin columns with SuiteScript in v2008.2?  I noticed they are available in view mode for a transaction but disappear in edit mode (in the ui).  The release notes mention copying this Est. Gross Profit value to the Alt. Sales Amount column to track quotas and forecasts via SuiteScript (which would be great) but I haven't found any reference to the new gross profit values in the SuiteScript reference or release notes.
