How to act on Inactive Records
Hi,
I have several scripts that perform logic on items, custom records (licenses) and other record types.
We need to mark some entries (eg. a license) as inactive, but still need to be able to use the base record entry for different purposes.
Is there a way that an inactive record can be used? For instance, I need to take the internal ID of an License (custom record) and write it to another custom record table for audit purposes, but the submitRecord fails since the record is inactive.
Could there be a parameter that would allow writing inactive information?
This is killing me, any help would be appreciated.
