An email button that does a killing

Hope somone can provide me some tips:

Under transaction->customer-> Individual Statement

How can I diable the button "Email" ? or at least to give out some warnings?

This button does not give out any warnings or confirmation before it sends out scilently.... it is like an untouchable trigger.
