onsubmit change field script

I have a custom form "borrowed book"  and the corresponding custom "Borrowed book record"

i have another custom record "Book record"

i have a field on custom book record named available which is a check box that is checked by default that is referenced on the borrowed book form.

I need a script that performs the following

onsubmit change the value of the available from true to false
