custom script to force default start time?

edited Dec 2, 2019 6:16PM in SuiteCloud / Customization

Hi,

We are using the Support Case module in Netsuite to track a type of interaction with our customers. It's important that we capture the day of the interaction, but not the specific time. However, we can't get past the fact that Netsuite creates a time stamp for support cases. It's causing a problem with reporting now, too, because these cases show up in one time zone through the Netsuite UI, but they show up in another time zone if we query the Netsuite db directly with an ODBC.

I'm trying to figure out how to have a script on the Support Case form that will always set the start time to a specific time AND a specific time zone. Anyone else have to do anything like that?

Howdy, Stranger!
