Resource list - 2 simple questions

2 Simple (?) questions

I am trying to script calander events (for training based on orders)- I can set up the Event ok but I cant set the resource. (I would have liked to check availability ars well)

How can I pull a list of resources to create a select list ? as the resource record does not seem open to scripting ?
