Why use Script File vs Library Script File
When creating either a script file or attaching a script to a form you have the option to select a script from Script File or Library Script File. Both select fields display the scripts in the File Cabinet.
So why select a file from Script File select option vs Library Script File select option???
This is what the help info says when you click on the Library Script File...
"Defines the JavaScript file that contains functions that will be referenced across several different SuiteScripts. Note that the library script file should contain any commonly used functions whereas the script file should contain functions specific to the current script record."
