timeitem sublist count in beforeLoad
I have a serverscript that runs on beforeLoad against a project(job) record.
Trying to count the number of rows under the time tracking tab.
below is the code...
function timeTrackingLines()
{
var record = nlapiGetNewRecord();
var lineCount = record.getLineItemCount('timeitem');
nlapiLogExecution("debug", "time tracking", "time count : " + lineCount);
return true;
}
The above code returns lineCount = -1 where there are 8 lines.
Why is this not giving the correct output? does -1 mean there are no sublist of timeitem?
