Permission to see "Field ID" in field help pop ups

One user doing some scripting doesn't see the "field ID" data when clicking on the field hyperlinks (the field level help hyperlinks). As an admin - I see this data (which is very helpful). Does anyone know which permission I need to enable on the users role, so this data will appear - I've searched help and the forum, but couldn't find the answer.
