End of Item Group add event

I'd like to trigger some form calculations after an item of type "Item Group" has completed the add of its members on a transaction form.  Any hints on how to trap this event?  The item add of the components does not appear to trigger the normal validate/calc/sourcing events (although sourcing occurs).

Any ideas?
