Mass Update Facility in a Suitelet Form?

Hi All,

I know its possible to schedule mass update in suitescript but is it possible implement the mass update engine in suitelet form?

The reason is that the standard mass update engine offers to much flexibility i.e I only want the user to have permission to use certain fields for the criteria

Or is it a case of creating my version of the mass update engine in suitescript?
