Basic Authorization

Hi,

Any tips or ideas on how to do a Basic Authorization via a Suitelet?

I want to ping an external system, to an example url like

http://username:password@myurl.xml?post=test+post

I know I need to use this nlapiRequestURL(url, postdata, headers, callback) but how do I add to this the Basic Authorization?

I have to do it via a POST Method

Any tips are appreciated.
