change time zone in script when using Date object

Hello,

I used scheduled script to be performed at midnight (12:00 am), the script will update an item field to the current date, but the date added in field in Central time, how can I change the date time zone which script use?

as example (the script performed in August 29 2009 at 12:01 am, the date added as the following: "Aug 28 2009 22:01 pm PDT" not the exact format but the exact date )
