New Support Case with Pre-Populated Fields

As the title suggest I am trying to create a new support in exactly the same way as when you go into a customer and go the the cases tab and click new case. However I would like to do this from a customer Contract Record I have created and would like to pre-populate about 10 fields in the case.
I have done the easy bit, creating a buton in the customer record. Now just like the above I don't want to create and save the case via a script as this release on all the fields being correct. What I am trying to achive is a support case screen with Case Number To be generated but all the fields pulled in from the customer record.
