Update value in subtab field

Hi all,

We use FedEx in some Locations and UPS in others so I would like to set the shipcarrier field depending on the location field.

My code for the update line reads:

nlapiSetFieldValue('shipcarrier','2',false);

which I'm calling at page Init.

This works on Body fields but shipcarrier is on the Shipping subtab and the field does not change from the Global default setting. Is there something special I have to do here?
