Scripting default for a dropdown list
I am trying to default a drop down so that upon create and copy, it will default to 'Do Not Commit' instead of 'Commit Available'. This is the script I have come up with and I have deployed it to the correct records but I am still coming up with nothing. What am I missing? Or am I completely off
function beforeLoad(type, form, request)
{
if(type == 'create')
{
nlapiSetFieldValue ('item_commitinventory_fs', 'Do Not Commit');
}
if(type == 'copy')
{
nlapiSetFieldValue ('item_commitinventory_fs', 'Do Not Commit');
}
}
