Using JS REPLACE in SuiteScript
We are running a scheduled script on an hourly basis that checks cases and if a set of conditions is true generates a response to the customer. Within that response is a dynamic link that is (url) that populates depending on a number of fields in the case record.
Our problem is that the url when created in a JS file breaks off at the first space that it sees.
I know that there is a JS function that will Replace a substring with a new substring. string.replace(regexp/substr,newstring)
Can someone help me with the proper formatting of this to replace all spaces in a variable called customername with a %20 ie "Company ABC Ltd." should return a string of "Company%20ABC%20Ltd."
