Is the resources sublist scriptable in projects?

Hello,

Does anyone know if the resources sublist is scriptable in projects? The help documentation seems to indicate that you cannot add resources to projects via script, but I found this old post from Yang that seems to indicate otherwise:

I would like to generate projects from script and then project tasks associated with that project from script. I believe if there are no resources assigned you will not be able to generate project tasks.

Here is a sample of the code I'm using to populate the sublist based on Yang's post:
