get pricing via nlapiSearchRecord

Is it possible to get at the pricing sublist (https://system.netsuite.com/help/helpcenter/en_US/Output/Help/SuiteFlex/SuiteScript/machineNames.281.29.html?NS_VER=2010.1.0#1022027)

using nlapiSearchRecord instead of the nlapiLoadRecord?  So far, my script using nlapiSearchRecord runs in under a second.  When I include nlapiLoadRecord, it goes to about 2.5 seconds.  So I really don't want to have to do that.  (There are several item records being fetched by the script.)
