"Dynamic" Searches or searches using parameters via Suitescript?
I am trying to determine if it is possible to come up with a "Dynamic" search using Suitescript.
I can design a search in the UI that satisfies my requirements using formula fields, however it requires hard-coding some values in the formula pop-up windows.
What I am trying to do is run a search that uses some trig functions (again, supported in the UI with Numeric Formula fields) sourcing a combination of custom fields on a customer entity and 2 parameters that are only known at the time of the search.
If I could create a search with the suitescript API that used formula fields, I think this would be pretty straightforward. From what I can tell however, you can't use formula fields in suitescript.
