Server script on "folder" record

Hi,
Has anyone tried scripting on "folder" record types? 

I have a very simple code to throw an error when certain users attempt to view a particular folder in the Filing Cabinet.  However the script just doesn't get triggered at all. 

Any one else having this issue?
