Field Changed trigger on item option field?

Hi all

Is it possible to execute a client script when the a item option field on a sales order row is updated?

I have tried to do this exact the same way as i do for other fields like for example quantity and price but the event is never called.
No "field changed"-event function is called when the item option field is updated.

Has anybody successfully done this?
