Add drop down fitlers using nlapiCreateList

Is it possible to to create drop down fitlers at the bottom of searches (in the footer) when creating dynamic lists using the nlapiCreateList object. I would like the user to have the option of filtering through the results (like they can in standard searches).

Is this possible?
