Custom Mass Update & Script
Hi,
Alright so I am trying to perform a custom Mass Update that will find the lowest purchase price in the list of vendors on an item record and set that price to be the Preferred Vendor for that item.
I would like it to eventually be a scheduled script that runs every time new costs get imported into Netsuite.
So far this is what I have on my script:
function setPrefVendor(rec_type, rec_id) { var recInvItem = nlapiLoadRecord(rec_type, rec_id); recInvItem.setFieldValue(); nlapiSubmitRecord(recInvItem); } It's a start but it obviously is missing the part that would make it work, finding the lowest vendor cost and setting it to be the preferred vendor. Could anyone help me out with this please? I'm just starting out in Netsuite scripting and I have to learn it - we don't have a programmer!
