Can't set list field using nlobjSubList.setLineItemValue

Hi,

We have a script that runs before load on a custom record. In Edit mode the script creates a sublist from the results of a transaction search and adds the search results as lines.

Some of the fields in the sublist are editable and are later submitted to the transaction via client scripts.

All the fields in the lines are being populated correctly except one field which is a dropdown/select field using a custom list as its source.

The list is sourced by nlobjSubList.addField but nlobjSubList.setLineItemValue(fieldid, linenum, value) does not set the value. The field remains blank. The value we are trying to set is the internal id of the list entry and is being returned by correctly by the search.
