Time Zone Behaviour in SuiteScript
Hi
I'm hoping someone at NetSuite can clarify existing behaviour when setting the date and time on a message record created in scripting.
From experiments, I think the date and time, set in the "messagedate" and "time" fields, take on the time zone set in Setup > Company > Company Information. If this is the case, when I create a message in scripting I should ensure the date and time are first localised to this global time zone setting?
Is this correct? Will there be any change in 2011.1 with the introduction of the datetime type? I've inspected the message record in our beta but see no change.
